After Service

Each Sunday after service, we gather in the Fellowship Hall for refreshments and snacks. We enjoy a variety of flavors as each family brings their own recipes and talents when they host from bacon-wrapped pretzels to homemade cupcakes. It is a joyful time to catch up with our church friends.

We mark special events with larger, sit-down meals. These include Mother's Day and Father's Day and occasionally others.

Pumpkin Patch

The Pumpkin Patch is a wonderful way to spend time and to get to know our church family better. Whether it is in a line passing pumpkins on unloading day, working a cake walk during the Fall Festival, or assisting families as they search for the perfect pumpkin, everyone agrees that the time spent with one another is an added benefit.

Pancake Breakfast

Every Palm Sunday, the men of the church host a breakfast before Sunday service featuring pancakes hot off the griddle, bacon, and more. It is a great way to start off Holy Week.

Easter Egg Hunt

West Emory has a long tradition of having the ultimate egg hunt for our younger members after Easter service. Our yard has plenty of nooks and crannies for eggs to hide. There are so many eggs that the children's baskets overflow - not that they complain.

Choir

Members of the choir gather Wednesday evenings to practice as well as catch up with each other.
